There are places where you go for the first time and feel immediately at home. Can Bass is one of those places.

More than a restaurant, it is a place where people enjoy the simple pleasures of being together and enjoying delicious food in a relaxed and homey atmosphere.

A year ago, Tara’s brother heard of the opening of a new place where, even during the summer, one could enjoy tranquillity and tasty local food, at reasonable prices. In Ibiza, finding places like this during the high season can be tricky… Anyway! There we were, ready to enjoy each others company and discover Can Bass’ cuisine.

The restaurant is very welcoming, with its soft lighting and beautiful décor made of simple natural materials such as wood and bare stone, giving it a feel of authenticity.

We were given the choice to sit in the neat and cozy space inside or the peaceful terrace with a wide view over the mountain. We chose to sit on the terrace to enjoy the freshness of the evening.

The cuisine was prepared with love and beautifully presented, a real pleasure for our eyes and taste buds.

Since this pleasant evening, we go to Can Bass quite regularly. It kind of became a meeting point every time journalists or friends visit the island.

Open all year round, you can enjoy the taste of authenticity for as little as 15 euros, if you go at lunch time for their popular all-inclusive set menu.

For us, every meal there is a moment of joy and laughter. Tara usually orders several dishes to be shared with everyone, as a family.
